Introduction
The Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education (DSTE) prepares trainees to teach at Junior School and Senior School levels under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). Trainees specialise in two teaching subjects while building strong professional foundations in pedagogy, assessment, and educational psychology. The programme runs for three years, combining coursework with structured teaching practice in partner schools.

- Build competency-based lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management skills.
- Strengthen understanding of adolescent development, guidance, and inclusive education.
- Integrate ICT and digital tools into secondary-level teaching and learning.
- Prepare trainees for TSC registration and professional practice as secondary teachers.
