Introduction
The Diploma in Teacher Education (Pre-Primary and Primary) is a three-year program aligned with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) up to Grade 6 in Kenya’s basic education framework. It emphasizes learner-centered teaching strategies, competency-based instruction, formative assessment approaches, reflection, structured micro-teaching, and extended practicum experience. The program includes complimentary computer classes to ensure students are tech-savvy.
Objectives
